Who Gets Haunted?

We’ve all seen it in movies — a ghost suddenly enters a person’s body, and they become possessed.

Sometimes it’s a massive man who suddenly gains supernatural strength.
But in real life, it doesn’t quite work like that.

🕯 Who Do Ghosts Target?

In Taoist metaphysics, we often say:

Ghosts don’t look for strong people.
They look for those with weak yang energy — fragile, unclear, ungrounded.

And yes — some people are born more yin.

We can see this clearly from their Bazi — the Four Pillars of Destiny based on their birth date.

If a person’s chart is extremely yin, they’re more prone to:

Nightmares
Sleep paralysis
Seeing things in the half-asleep state

The kind of things people think are ghosts.

🛏 A Common Sign: Sleep Paralysis

Many people report waking up — but not being able to move.

Or they feel someone pressing down on them.

Or they see something but can’t wake up fully.

We call this “ghost pressing the bed” (鬼压床).

For this, carrying a Ziwei Huì talisman is especially effective.

But a reminder:
Don’t keep the talisman near your bed while doing inappropriate things — adult videos, affairs, or disrespectful behavior. These will offend the spiritual force and weaken its help.
